A few years ago I started a thread on Bogong High Plains tracks
https://bushwalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=31987This tended to have most of the track Bogong High Plains information in one place instead of having discrete threads about individual parts. Would there be merit in having one thread for each major bushwalking area like Kosciuszko and Blue Mountains NPs?

Both Kosciuszko and Alpine NPs span fairly large areas so how you'd split up the areas and define boundaries for individual walks I'm not sure. eg. Tali Karng and Bogong both lie within the Alpine NP but aren't really related although for some smaller isolated NPs like Baw Baw and Grampians it might be useful to keep topics together.

I don't think everyone does a search before creating a new post so it would be hard to oversee.
Maybe a better solution could be creating sub-forums for the bigger, more popular regions like you have in Victoria forum for the AAWT.
So the posts are still jumbled up but at least they are in one forum grouping

I agree with GBW and crollsurf. Members will be more likely to be contributing and/or seeking information on specific locations rather than greater regions. E.g., recent threads on Granny Spur, Dibbins, Feathertop, etc.
