UNEXPLORED: New book of Tas wilderness photography

Postby Martin Hawes » Sun 17 Jul, 2022 8:56 pm

I'm currently publishing UNEXPLORED, a new book of my photographs of Tasmania's wild places. The book is hardcover and has start-of-the-art printing and a foreword by Bob Brown. Copies can be purchased on my website, and are available at a special prepublication rate until the books are delivered in Tasmania (hopefully in late August, but I can't guarantee the date). Buyers can collect their copies from Find Your Feet in Hobart or choose to have them sent by Express Post. For more information & sales, please visit

If you love excellent landscape photography or want some inspiration for your own future adventures, I strongly recommend you purchase a copy of Martin's new book. The presale offer price of "UNEXPLORED" is a bargain in my opinion and since I don't know how many copies Martin is having printed, I suggest you get your order in early to secure your copy.

I was lucky enough to be invited to provide feedback on an early electronic draft of the book and was impressed by the beauty of Martin's atmospheric, often unique photographs, as well as the thoughtfulness of his writing. I have no doubt that "UNEXPLORED" will take its place in history as one of the great Tasmanian landscape photography/adventure books.

And it will make a fabulous Xmas or birthday present for anyone who loves the outdoors and wild places and the sublime beauty of the Tasmanian wilderness. I've already purchased my copy and I am very much looking forward to receiving it in due course, and to then reading it a great many times in the future.

For a further insight to this book check out this interview with Martin on the process of developing the book and his thoughts behind the whole project.
