About to head off on a section of the AAWT

Postby Mr Bean » Fri 28 Dec, 2018 9:11 am

My partner and I are planning to head up to Rumpff Saddle early next week and walk to Hotham. We have allowed 8 days (with no food drops) and were wondering what the current conditions of water (Low Saddle, Hellfire Creek and the tanks). Each of us will carry 3L plus I'll have a 2L bladder to fill were we can.
TIA.

There is water flowing well along the Mt. Clear 4 x 4 track about 500 M. from the gate where the King Billy Track meets the Bluff Track. I always carry a spare empty 4 L bladder that can be clipped to one's pack.
