WTB - Cordura 500d fabric

Postby ULhikerAU » Wed 07 Aug, 2019 6:05 pm

I'm looking to make my own backpack so I can create a design specifically for my body. I've tried various packs and each one of them just seems to lack one thing or another so I thought I'd take a leap and make my own. I'm looking for some Cordura 500D - black fabric to use on the back panel. If any of the DIYers out there have any left over from your creations I'd love to buy it off you please.

Happy Hiking!!! :D

Hi Lisa,

I've seen 500d cordura for sale on eBay which you can buy by the metre.

I just had a pack made for me by Atom Packs in the UK and they use 500d in the back panel. Totally bomber. Takes all the stress off the X-Pac/DCF or whatever you're using for the pack body.

There is a forum member called moondog55 who seems to do a bit of myog, you could ask him?

Cheers,

Pete
