Wilder Wilmot River: a road less travelled

Postby billshep2 » Sat 02 Feb, 2019 8:03 pm

I am hoping to attract interest in the Wilmot River walk from Groove Creek to Spellman's Bridge. This is wilder than the easy East Ellis circuit and is seldom walked. Features rain forest, steep slopes, and lovely swimming pools. Allow 4 - 5 hours. A car shuttle between Spellman's and Castra Plantation is best. All details on my blog at https://wilmotriverwalks.com.
I have just cleared this track, and with low water for the crossings, its a perfect time to try it. Be Bold try something different! Far away from the crowds and red tape at Cradle
