Why didn't I say Victoria? I thought it looked like Victoria! I claim cabin fever.

Fever? Get yourself tested, Torty. CoVID is still a possibility.

No fever, just the cabin. At least I can isolate at home, not in a hotel room.

Hope there's plenty to do in your garden so you don't get too bored.

Ooooh, there's plenty to do - just not the fun stuff.

Clue time: not the same quadrant as the last photo.
Thu 30 Jul, 2020 5:53 pm
Is it Saddleback?
Thu 30 Jul, 2020 6:16 pm
I said NOT the same quadrant. It's in a very different part of the state.

Rip snorter of a clue, NNW. That's about the only thing I was sure about.
Thu 30 Jul, 2020 6:27 pm
Ha
Wish I had've read the clue a bit closer....

Can I just say that it is a beautiful photo.
The trees make me think the SE corner - in areas I have not been - like the Snowy Range.
Thu 30 Jul, 2020 8:33 pm
Not Snowy, and not SE, but you're down in the right half and slowly getting closer. And you've been fairly close to this spot. It's a photo that could have been taken nearly fifty years ago if I'd had a camera.

I have climbed Wedge you know. Just this year in a total white out.
Thu 30 Jul, 2020 10:12 pm
Are you looking at Wedge from the Ragged Range?
Fri 31 Jul, 2020 7:29 am
We're in the right NP now, but it's not Wedge. This isn't Abel, although one does pass it on the way to some classics.

Are we looking at Mt Bowes?
Sat 01 Aug, 2020 8:07 am
We are looking at Mt Bowes, now we just have to decide from where we are looking.

On the Mueller road?
Sat 01 Aug, 2020 12:12 pm
Indeed, not far from the start of the old track.

Thanks NNW, next

Sorry it's been a while since i've posted anything new. You'll have to put up with repeats for quite a while yet too.

That scree looks very familiar. Is it on Cathedral Mountain? If so, maybe from Mt Nereus?
Sun 02 Aug, 2020 10:28 am
Neither of Graham.

Nice one Eggs. It's from the ridge somewhere between RH and Junction hill.
