Yep that's the spot. Although not from the summit, we were on the edge of the cliffs near the high camp. It was a ripping sunset that followed!

Nights on PB seem to be like that -- either totally clagged in or stunning sunset/sunrise.

This was another day with a stunning sunset.

Definitely looking south, Frankland Peak at the back. I'd guess maybe Redtop Peak, looking at the Cupola saddle in the foreground?

Probably closer to a helipad than that.

Tahune? Probably but, given how crap I usually am at this, I deserve massive kudos just for working out that it's somewhere in the Frenchmans region.

Not sure where SBS went - but I have a wider view of this scene from behind Tahune Hut.
Without the marvellous light that SbS captured but.

On the other side of the hill indeed! Some groovy sandstone up that way, very inviting to look around. Over to you, pazzar.

Clue time? I can see the ocean from here.

Re: GAME: Where am I?

Fri 11 Oct, 2019 9:12 am

Is it somewhere on the Wilmot Range? I'm not sure if the ocean is seaable from there and I'm not even sure if the Wilmot has a ridge like this. It was clouded out when i was there.

Not the Wilmot Range, but in the right quarter of the state.

Reminds me of the SW cape range.
